The Healthcare sector has been a specialism within the Practice for many years. HTP has been appointed on many substantial Care Homes, Close Care Apartments, and similar projects.

We can offer the RIBA Full Service to design and manage the project from inception to completion, or on Design and Build Contracts HTP can provide Employers Agent or Architectural Services to Employers or Contractors.

• A new build residential Care Home in Richmond, Surrey, for adults with learning disabilities. The project, in a Conservation area, involved complex Planning negotiations and obtaining Planning Consent for the new Care Home, and conversion of the former care home into 13 apartments for sale.

• HTP were appointed as Employers Representative on this fast track Design and Build project to construct a new Care Village, comprising a 3 storey 85 bed Nursing Home, 39 Close Care apartments, extensive landscaping and car parking. The site is in woodland, adjacent to a Listed Building. The high quality elevational treatment includes natural slate roofing and lead clad dormers, Flemish bond brickwork and stone detailing.
• A new build Extra Care facility in Bletchley for a Charitable Institution, built in two phases, for a total of 45 service users.
• A second project for the same client in Bletchley. Featuring 32, two person close care apartments with communal facilities.
• 40 single bedroom Close Care apartments in Basildon.
• Designs and Planning Applications for a 60 bed Care home in Tandridge Borough and a 70 bed Care home in Croydon, Surrey.
• Appraisal and upgrading of various Care Homes in South East England.
• A Mental Health Day Care Centre in Teddington, Surrey, designed for the Local Health Authority.
